global warming?seasonal trends?

washington dc has a history of having some warm stretches in the winter
yes... global warming is a reality
but... are these warm days just a part of the climate here
it does seem like things are warmer than they were when I was a child
it seemed like there was usually the first set of flurries before thanksgiving
then at least a dusting before christmas
were the cold snowy winters of my childhood the seasons out of character
or are these warm decembers of the present day what is out of character
?

the weather folks are saying that Washington DC was previously labeled as a northeastern climate
now they are qualifying things as a southern climate
will it take cacti in front of the White House before they take action on the global warming issue
