I've been considering making this happen for me, but does it count if I just bike the 7 miles to a Metro station and then take Metro the rest of the 20 miles to my office? I've biked in Tysons Corner on the weekend before, just feeling it out for a commute and it was suicide. Drivers there EXPECT that there won't be bikers or pedestrians and drive like maniacs.
