THREE FEET!

THREE FEET!

THREE FEET!

I THOUGHT THREE FEET WAS THE LAW!

WashCycle has some words about action that needs to happen today
THREE FEET! it is not the law... it should be the law

I was going to post an image of Lynrd Skynrd with a link to song give me three steps
was going to go as obscure as to put a photo of the drummer
until I learned that Artimus Pyle is a sex offender

Here in Minnesota, the is three feet. The problem is with enforcement. Unless there is some sort of altercation, the police (at least in Rochester) won't do a thing about a car not giving you the three feet. In fact, I had a semi truck pretty much run me off the road, as he was stopping. Since he was stopped, I was able to call the police who then proceded to tell me that there wasn't anything he could do, and that maybe I could have been riding differently.

I don't know, I'm not saying that it shouldn't be the law. But there somehow also needs to be education, and enforcement. Some of the rules of interacting with and operating a bicycle should be included on every driver's liscence test.

gunnar... you should be in a car

why would an adult be playing with their toys in the road!

grow up and get a car!

oh... sorry
for a second there all the shit that drivers say to me was starting to sink in

yes...

common sense and common courtesy

laws only exist because people do not know how to behave

if people could just behave we would not be having this conversation
and
I would have a lot less to blog about

I'd be happy with 2'. 3' would be a luxury....

As for Artymus Pyle... The lyric, "Wait a minute mister, I didn't even &$#* her" just doesn't sound right in this context. ;)
