Just watch out! The bikes are framed with HighTen ("High Tensile") steel instead of Chromoly (well, the cheap ones are HighTen, there is a more expensive model now with Chromoly) and that means... HEAVY! (almost 2x as heavy!)
But other than that and middle-of-the-road components; absolutely a good deal!

Republic Bikes unfortunately have a reputation for being cheap bikes with pretty paint jobs.
