just got home from coaching Grant and his U10 soccer team
good practice
saw some stuff I liked... kids are starting to think
but there are still a few situations and a few children I do not want to think
THROW INS DOWN THE LINE UP FIELD
UNLESS YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUG TO THE GOAL TO THROUGH IT TOWARDS THE MIDDLE

and of course
GOAL KICKS TO THE SIDE
NEVER ACROSS THE FIELD
NEVER INTO THE MIDDLE
more goals at this stage are scored not by beautiful soccer but by a team capitalizing on the other teams mistakes
so many goals scored off sorry goal kicks
great to have our kids starting to understand how to intercept that sloppy goal kick
would like to see the removal of the sloppy goal kick from out team
